Fishponds is a largely residential suburb in northeast Bristol — predominantly Victorian terraced housing along and around Fishponds Road, with some 1930s properties on the wider residential streets. The Thingwall Park area has some of the most characterful Victorian stock in BS16, with larger bay-fronted terraces. The UWE Glenside campus at the northern edge of the area creates a significant student rental market, making Fishponds one of Bristol’s busiest areas for HMO and shared tenancy lock changes.
